Stacey V. Eason is Certified Nurse Midwife at Mid-Kansas Women’s Center PA in Wichita, KS. Stacey believes strongly in the autonomy of women to make health care decisions and enthusiastically participates in the shared-decision making model of care. She is happy to see women from first period, through family planning, pregnancy, and post-menopause. She specializes in non-judgmental and sex-positive care.
Stacey received her Associates in Nursing in 1997 from Hesston College. She started working in labor and delivery upon graduation. After nearly 20 years of being an OB nurse, she completed her undergraduate education at Fort Hays State University in 2016. She immediately went on for her Master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on midwifery and graduated from Frontier Nursing University in 2019.
Stacey has facilitated the training of local OB nurses in Spinning Babies techniques, and is an Evidence-Based Birth instructor. Maternal mental health is an area close to Stacey’s heart. To that end, she is currently in progress to become a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner so she can more effectively provide care for those suffering with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and birth trauma/PTSD. She is currently certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board as a certified nurse midwife (CNM) and licensed by the Kansas State Board of Nursing as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN).
Please note: Our Midwives are still offering obstetric and gynecological care for women of all ages, but are temporarily unable to perform deliveries at this time.
